This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Node Fortress LLC and its affiliated entities ("Node Fortress," "we," "us," or "our") collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Node Fortress Wallet ("Wallet"), a self-custodial Canton Coin (CC) and CIP-56 token wallet delivered through a MetaMask Snap integration, or when you otherwise interact with our services and communications.
By accessing or using the Wallet, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Wallet.
1. What Information We Collect
1.1 Self-Custodial & Wallet Data
- We do not collect or store your private keys, seed phrases, secret recovery phrases, or wallet balances — these remain fully under your control on your device.
- We do not collect or retain transaction history or on-chain activity except as described below under necessary network interactions.
1.2 Information You Provide
You may optionally choose to provide certain information, such as:
- Contact email (for support or optional communications).
- Feedback, survey responses, and preferences if you provide them voluntarily.
1.3 Automatically Collected Technical Information
To operate and support the Wallet, we may automatically process certain technical information, which may include:
- Device and usage information (such as browser type, operating system, crash logs) to improve functionality.
- IP address for technical operation (e.g., connecting to decentralized network nodes) and fraud protection, only where necessary.
- Anonymous performance & analytics data used to understand product interactions and improve user experience.
We do not use this information in a way that identifies you unless you voluntarily provide identifiable information. Similar to other Web3 products, information is kept to the minimum necessary to provide the Wallet. (Consensys)
